Annual Return: Lota Cool Market Celebrates a Decade in Business

The much-anticipated Lota Cool Market is set to return to the Portimão Riverside Area from July 16 to July 20, 2025. This vibrant event, an initiative by Teia D'Impulsos with the support of the Municipality of Portimão, is a celebration of art, culture, and sustainability.

Each evening, the Choque Frontal stage will be the musical heart of the event, with performances taking place between 10 PM and midnight, followed by DJ sessions until 2 AM. On July 16, Fernando Leal will perform a special concert to mark 10 years of his career, followed by DJ Bruno Lopes. On July 17, School of Rock will take the stage, offering an exciting opportunity for children to try instruments and form their first band. The schedule for the remaining days is yet to be fully detailed, but visitors can look forward to a variety of performances.

In addition to the music, Lota Cool Market offers a relaxed atmosphere by the river, with food trucks and national producers providing a journey through local products. Since 2014, the market has been hosting small brands and producers of ceramics, jewelry, sustainable textiles, recycled wood pieces, among others, making it a showcase of excellence for artisans and designers.

The event aligns itself with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, including SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities), and SDG 13 (Climate Action). It has become a generational meeting place for families, young people, and tourists, with artistic activities for children available in the family space, including traditional Portuguese games in a giant version.

Performances on July 18 and 19 include Recante, Gaiatos Capote, The Black Teddys, and 5ex Band. On July 20, DJ Nuno Silva will perform from 00h to 02h.
