Art Market Wallé taking place at Bremen Overseastad on 24th November
Art enthusiasts and curious individuals from Bremen and beyond are invited to attend the annual **Kunst.Markt.Walle** art event on November 24, 2024. This much-anticipated art market, hosted by Kunst.Hafen.Walle, will take place at the Energieleitzentrale Bremen (Am Speicher XI 11, 28217 Bremen) from 11 am to 5 pm.
Known as the largest art market in Bremen, Kunst.Markt.Walle offers more than just a shopping experience. It serves as a platform for artistic exchange and creative enjoyment, providing a space for local artists and visitors to connect within Bremen's thriving art scene.
The event features a diverse array of artworks, including paintings, photography, drawings, airbrush, prints, sculptures, design objects, and art books, showcasing the talent of over 70 national and international artists. Emerging talents, established local figures, and internationally renowned artists such as Naser Nassan Agha from Syria and Jinsu Du from China will be present, offering visitors the opportunity to discover new artworks and meet artists.
In addition to the art market, visitors can expect a lively cultural atmosphere. Live music may be part of the programme, with subsequent exhibitions or cultural happenings nearby, such as the Helga bar, which hosts art shows with live music after the market.
Refreshments, including food trucks, a funnel cake stand, and a coffee bike, will be available throughout the day, offering vegan options among the culinary delights. The event is free to attend, and many works can be purchased directly and taken home.
Henning Lühr, chairman of Kunst.Hafen.Walle e.V, explains the event's purpose: "Our goal is to create a lively and accessible platform for art, where art can be experienced up close and purchased." Under the motto "Immerse yourself in the creative diversity of Walle and the world," visitors are encouraged to engage directly with artists and experience local contemporary art.
