Artwork Purchases for a Charitable Endeavor: €850 Contributed to Arche-Harburg
In a heartwarming display of community spirit, Harburg Marketing e.V. has successfully raised 850 euros for the ARCHE, a local welfare institution in the Harburg Phoenix district. The funds were raised through annual auctions and sales of Hamburg Skyline items, a popular initiative that not only supports the ARCHE financially but also fosters a connection to the city's identity.
The most recent fundraising event took place on Wednesday evening, where a donation check was handed over to Tobias Lucht from the ARCHE. The donation was made by the team around Antonia Marmon. Speaking on the occasion, Tobias Lucht expressed his gratitude towards Harburg initiatives and companies for their continuous support, stating that such contributions significantly impact the well-being and development of the children the ARCHE serves.
The ARCHE offers a wide range of services to children in the neighbourhood, including free meals, vacation activities, sports, creative offers, learning support, and career orientation. The funds raised will directly benefit these projects and initiatives, ensuring ongoing assistance to local residents in need.
The Hamburg Skyline items, such as mugs, bowls, keychains, and other merchandise with a Hamburg motif, are provided by the Harburg company Cargo SEAL GmbH. These popular souvenirs not only raise funds for the ARCHE but also engage the local population and visitors, fostering a sense of community and connection to the city.
At the "Summer in the Park" 2023 event, Ralf Schwinge collaborated with 3,000 visitors to create two artworks. These artworks were auctioned off for 100 euros each at a silent auction, with Marmstorfer Viktoria, Nico Ehlers, and Sabine Kunz from Kunz Hearing Systems being the proud owners.
It is worth noting that the Arche facility in the Harburg Phoenix district relies on donations for its daily operations. The donation received from Harburg Marketing e.V. will undoubtedly make a significant difference in the lives of the children the ARCHE serves.
In addition to the recent donation, 650 euros were collected from the sales of these items in 2023 and 2024. This ongoing support from Harburg Marketing e.V. not only provides financial aid but also raises awareness for the ARCHE's needs within the community.
The Arche's commitment to the well-being and development of children in the Harburg Phoenix district is commendable. Through initiatives such as these, Harburg Marketing e.V. is helping to ensure that the ARCHE can continue its vital work in the community.
The team around Antonia Marmon, following the success of their recent fundraising event, will be directing a portion of the 850 euros raised towards supporting other lifestyle initiatives provided by the ARCHE, such as home-and-garden projects and deals-and-discounts during shopping events. Additionally, the ongoing sales of Hamburg Skyline items, including merchandise from Cargo SEAL GmbH, will continue to fund similar future projects, allowing the ARCHE to maintain its wide range of services for local residents in need.
