In the charming old apartment of Armina, a psychological couples therapist and yoga instructor, in Graz, Austria, a unique three-course menu was served at her recent dinner party. The menu, a reflection of Armina's balanced and mindful approach to dining, consisted of:

  1. Linguine with pesto
  2. Barramundi (a type of fish)
  3. Lemon tart

Armina's guests, including Christian (37) and Birgit (44), found the meal to be a delightful experience. Despite Armina's preference for a lighter bagel, everyone enjoyed the meal overall. However, Maria found the paprika sauce too sweet, while Armina herself found it a bit too sour.

Christian, despite the sweet paprika sauce, approved of the dish and would order it again if Armina had a restaurant. He also appreciated the unique dessert combination of zucchini-pumpkinseed oil cake, apricot mirror, and chocolate ice cream.

The side dish for the paprika chicken was not a problem, as Armina and her husband Sebastian (32) had taken a pasta cooking class during an Italian road trip. The appetizer, "Animal fun on the crispy board" with borlotti bean, beef, and bagel, was also well-received.

The first evening ended with satisfied guests, many of whom commented that the paprika sauce was very sweet. Armina, who learned the excessive use of sugar in cooking from her father, a chef, had a psychological trick for stress-free preparations: printing out 'Today's Pleasures' lists to check off.

Armina's guests were initially reserved but became more open after the first sip of alcohol. They were served Tafelspitz carpaccio, homemade bagels, borlotti bean salad, and a quail egg, with guests self-dosing the dressing with a pipette.

Armina greets her guests several times a week with her own creation, Apple Strudel Spritz. The dinner party concluded with Armina earning 33 points for her top hosting skills. A successful evening of mindful dining and meaningful conversations in the heart of Graz.
