Bergisch Gladbach's Youth Culture Day: Magic, Hip Hop & Art on Sept 27
Bergisch Gladbach is gearing up for a vibrant day of youth culture events on Saturday, September 27, 2025. The city, in collaboration with Landesvereinigung Kulturelle Jugendarbeit NRW e.V. (LKJ NRW e.V.), presents three free events as part of the 'nachtfrequenz25' initiative, catering to young people aged 14 and above.
Kicking off the day is a Magic: The Gathering card game event at Q1 Jugend-Kulturzentrum from 12:00 to 20:00. This event offers enthusiasts a chance to engage in strategic gameplay and compete with fellow players.
Later in the evening, from 19:00 to 24:00, the UFO Jugendkulturhaus der AWO hosts a thrilling Hip Hop/Rap concert. Headlining the event are Omar Janna, KFT., and Ivan Draco, promising an electrifying performance alongside local talent.
For those seeking a creative outlet, the ArtLab - Open Atelier at Atelier KLKS from 19:00 to 21:00 offers a variety of artistic activities such as painting, drawing, and modeling clay. This event provides a space for young artists to explore and express their creativity.
All events are scheduled at reasonable hours and are free of charge, making them accessible to a wide range of young people.
These events are part of the larger 'nachtfrequenz' project, the largest decentralized youth culture festival in Germany, taking place across over 300 events in 95 cities and communities. Bergisch Gladbach is proud to host three of these events, fostering a vibrant and inclusive youth culture scene.
