New Building Area in Barnin Aims to Attract Young Families

Barnin, a village in Germany, is set to welcome more young families with the development of a new building area named "Am Dorfanger". In the coming weeks, the construction site is expected to reach its building-ready status, with eight fully developed plots, each approximately 1000 square meters in size.

The village, currently home to about 250 inhabitants with an average age of 35 years, is offering a 40% discount on building plots for this target group. This initiative aims to make it more affordable for young families to acquire land for constructing homes. Interested parties can register their interest online and participate in the public lottery for plot allocation.

Barnin, a winner of the district competition "Our Village Has a Future", offers a child discount of five euros per square meter, with the regular price being 139 euros per square meter. The village is family-friendly, boasting a daycare mother, numerous educational facilities, shopping opportunities, medical care, and a hospital in the nearby town of Crivitz.

The new building area is not regulated for architectural style, offering residents the freedom to design their homes as they wish. The community of Barnin is well-connected, with fiber optic cable, water, and electricity already connected to the new building plots. Barnin Lake, with its bathing area, is within walking distance.

Mayor Stephan Stange encourages potential residents, stating that "there's always something going on in Barnin". The village is home to old thatched farmhouses and a neo-Gothic church from the 19th century, providing a charming backdrop for the new homes.
