Celebration ensues after cancellation
The Cancelada Fair 2025 is set to bring four days of excitement and entertainment to the town, running from August 21 to August 24, 2025.
The festivities will kick off on Thursday, August 21, at 9pm with the official opening. David Quirós and flamenco dancer Ana Guerrero will perform at the opening, followed by the official lighting ceremony, accompanied by live music from Orquesta Metrópolis.
On Friday, August 22, the Day Fair opens at 2:30pm, accompanied by live music from Grupo Latidos. A senior's gathering will take place at 7pm, and free inflatables for children will be available from 3pm to 7pm. In the evening, Orquesta Metrópolis will perform, followed by a midnight concert by Amistades Peligrosas.
The highlight of Saturday, August 23, will be the water party starting at 12:30pm at Free Wave Sports Centre. At 2pm, a free paella feast prepared by master chef Raúl Postigo will take place. In the evening, Rosa López will take to the stage, closing the fair with a performance that will end at midnight. Capitán Vinilo will perform at 5:30pm.
The festivities will conclude on Sunday, August 24, with Las Carlotas wrapping up the festivities at 11pm.
Throughout the fair, the event will offer family-friendly entertainment, with over 20 activities catering to all ages. The fair will feature a variety of attractions such as gastronomy and live music, creating a festive atmosphere during these four days.
The Cancelada Fair will have free performances by Spanish artists such as Rosa López, Amistades Peligrosas, and Las Carlotas.
