Cinema in Düsseldorf: Rumba Dance Therapy Sessions with an Energetic Snap Class
The alltours cinema in Düsseldorf, situated on the Rhine, offers a unique cinema experience paired with special events for select films. On August 14th, the comedy "Die Rumba-Therapie" will be screened, preceded by a dance special aimed at getting the audience in the mood.
The dance special commences at 8 PM with a SALSATION session at the Kino Beach, where visitors can partake in a free trial lesson led by dance instructor Claudia Thiele. "Die Rumba-Therapie" is a heartwarming comedy that celebrates the joy of Latin American dances. The story follows grumpy loner Tony, who after a heart attack, decides to reconnect with his daughter Maria, a dance instructor in Paris. Tony enrolls in a Rumba course under a false name to get closer to his daughter but struggles with revealing his true identity. With the assistance of his neighbor Fanny, Tony practices dance moves day and night. However, can the years of paternal absence be overcome with rumba-infused steps?
