City Council's gardening squad extends an invite to the community for "Green Hour" event, scheduled in September 2025.
Join us for an enlightening online seminar as part of the "Green Hour" series, hosted by the Specialist Advisory Service for Garden Culture and Landscape Care of the Regensburg District Administration. The seminar, scheduled for September 25, 2025, at 5 PM, will focus on the topic of grasses in private gardens.
This one-hour event will be co-hosted by Dr. Matthias Klärle, the Specialist Advisor for Garden Design and Landscape Maintenance at the Regensburg district office, and C. Gietl, another Specialist Advisor for the event.
Grasses are versatile plants that can thrive in both sunny prairie beds and shady garden corners. They bring movement, structure, and year-round enrichment to gardens. During the seminar, you'll learn about combining grasses with other plants, planting, care, and pruning of grasses.
Practical tips will be provided to create aesthetically convincing and ecologically valuable gardens with grasses. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, this seminar promises to be informative and inspiring.
To register for the "Green Hour", simply send an email to [email protected]. For more information, you can contact Dr. Matthias Klärle at 0941 4009-792 or C. Gietl at 0941 4009-619S.
We look forward to seeing you at the seminar and helping you transform your private garden with the beauty and charm of grasses!
