Get ready for the return of NYC's Summer Streets in 2025! This year, the event will span five Saturdays, offering over 22 miles of car-free streets for walking, biking, and running across the city.

The first event will take place on Saturday, July 26, in Queens and Staten Island. The streets will be closed to vehicle traffic, with Queens' Vernon Boulevard (between 44th Drive and 30th Road) and Staten Island's Forest Avenue (between Elizabeth Street and Bard Avenue) transformed into pedestrian-friendly zones.

From July 2 to August 16, Manhattan will host three consecutive events. The route will run from the Brooklyn Bridge, through Manhattan, all the way up to Dyckman Street and Broadway. This is the first year the route extends uninterrupted along Manhattan's full length, from Brooklyn Bridge to Inwood/Dyckman Street.

The final event will take place on Saturday, August 23, in Brooklyn and The Bronx. The exact routes for these events will be announced at a later date.

Each event will run from 7 am to 3 pm, rain or shine. Free activities include fitness classes, cultural performances, interactive public art, and family-friendly events along the routes.

Lyft is also joining the fun by offering free Citi Bike day passes. To get your hands on a free pass, simply use the promo code LYFTSUMMER25 on the days of the events.
