Dusseldorf Church Performance: Illuminated Retelling of "Genesis" with Musical Accompaniment in Johanneskirche
Discover the captivating light show "Genesis", an artistic tribute to the beginning of the world, taking place at St. John's Church from 11th January to 23rd February 2025. This thought-provoking production is part of the EONARIUM series, presented by the international artist collective PROJEKTIL.
Tickets for this immersive experience can be purchased online at www.example.com. Prices range from 6.90 euros for children up to 9 years, 9.90 euros for young people, and 13.90 euros for adults. For those interested in the Genesis with Organ Concert, ticket prices are 7.90 euros for children, 13.90 euros for young people, and 19.90 euros for adults.
Barrier-free access is possible for all visitors, ensuring an inclusive experience for everyone. Alisa Ostermann, the project manager, emphasises that the presentation of the creation story is without a denominational framework, allowing for free interpretation by everyone.
The visual journey will take you through the formation of the sun, moon, and stars, as well as the awakening of life, accompanied by classical compositions combined with modern electronic sounds. Works by Jacques Offenbach, John Wasson, and the Swiss duo Adriatique will be featured.
The creative director and founder of PROJEKTIL, Roman Beranek, explains that the aim is to create an emotional and entertaining experience for audiences across generations. He promises a journey through space and time, promising to leave a lasting impression.
Time slots for "Genesis" are available between 18:30 and 21:30, extending until 22:15 on weekends. On 25th and 26th of January, there will be a Genesis with a 30-minute live organ concert.
