Plans for "Leto na Zavode" Festival Introduce Paid Admission

This season, the "Leto na Zavode" festival team is breaking new ground with a paid entry fee of 250 rubles. For individuals under 14 years old and senior citizens, entrance will cost 150 rubles. Those residing in Sysserti can still gain free admission, as confirmed by our site.RU in the festival team.

The switch to paid admission is due to the festival not receiving any grants. Organizational fees will be collected from visitors to keep the venue operational.

"This year's challenge is that we didn't receive support in the form of a grant. We tried in various funds, both regional and federal, but it seems that we won't be receiving any. On one hand, this disappoints us, but on the other, it toughens us up and strengthens our resolve to self-sustain. Our goal is to make this project more stable. This year, we'll introduce an organizational fee at the door," said Ilia Orlov-Bunin, the creative director and co-founder of the "Leto na Zavode" project.

The venue will open on June 12 and close in mid-September. The festival will operate from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM on weekends.

  • The "Leto na Zavode" festival has been held annually in Sysserti since 2019. This year marks the first time in five years that the project has been without support from a grant provided by the Presidential Fund. Organizers have sought funding through investors, the regional government, and crowdfunding platforms.

Despite the funding setbacks, the festival team remains committed to delivering a memorable experience. They're recognised for their creativity and dedication to offering various artistic and cultural events. Come enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and support independent art!
