Zoltan Bathory's Castle-Like Home in Las Vegas Up for Sale

Zoltan Bathory, rhythm guitarist of the heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch, has put his castle-like home in Las Vegas up for sale. Known as the Rose Manor, this unique property is a blend of historical and modern luxury elements inspired by a 17th-century Scottish castle.

The three-story Rose Manor boasts high vaulted ceilings, a rooftop deck enclosed in glass offering 360-degree views, a hidden elevator disguised as a chimney, a lap pool, and the largest private dock in the neighborhood. The home features turrets, imported medieval stonework, 15th-century stone gates from Europe, a 17th-century fireplace mantel, 500-year-old wooden beams and doors from a French chateau, Turkish and Peruvian limestone floors, and a mosaic ceiling by a Ukrainian artist.

Bathory spent six years extensively renovating the property after purchasing it in 2019. He invested heavily to transform it into a grand architectural work of art with the help of architect Michael Murphy. The interior was renovated to feel more spacious, with low ceilings being opened up. A modern kitchen and an elevator leading to the roof were also added.

Despite the extensive renovations, Bathory is selling the home now for $28 million. He explained in an interview with Blabbermouth.net that he enjoys the creative process of designing and building something monumental. As an artist, he finds the fulfillment in creating such properties more compelling than owning them. Bathory expressed his desire to continue discovering, renovating, and transforming other unique castles and fortresses, particularly eyeing projects in Europe.

The Rose Manor has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms. It also showcases vintage gothic aesthetics with modern comforts, reflecting Bathory's enthusiasm for darker vintage aesthetics, similar to many others associated with metal music. The property features a 17th-century fireplace and old stone gates, adding to its historical charm.

Bathory and architect Michael Murphy are already considering transforming other castles into livable works of art. The sale of the Rose Manor marks a new chapter in Bathory's journey of creating grand architectural masterpieces.
