The spotlight is shifting towards top-notch quality, and customers are more than ready to shell out the dough. Quality providers, be they manufacturers or service providers, are no longer just catching eyes—they're winning hearts (and wallets)! For the very first time, the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ) and ntv are honoring companies that deliver exceptional quality in a whopping 66 different categories, each reflecting the rich diversity of the German economy.

Bianca Möller, the Managing Director of the German Institute for Service Quality, shares her excitement: "Our newly launched award sheds light on which companies truly live up to their quality promises. The results offer a valuable compass for consumers."

To gather insights, the DISQ conducted a representative consumer survey, examining customer satisfaction in vital areas such as quality of products/services, range, customer service, and reliability. In total, a massive 43,467 customer opinions laid the groundwork for "Germany's Quality Champions 2025."

Breaking it Down: Multiple Factors Reviewed

The evaluation process took numerous factors into account, including the value and durability of products, their execution, usefulness, and functionality. Customer needs were carefully assessed, along with the reliability of products and services, and contact options like telephone, email, chat, and social media. The quality of responses to customer inquiries and the informational value and user-friendliness of company websites were also under the microscope. Willingness to recommend formed a crucial part of the results.

Initially, 932 companies were evaluated, with 561 making it to the individual assessment, each featuring 100 customer voices. Depending on the industry and the number of evaluated companies, up to three prize winners were honored per category.
