Greifswald's Intercultural Week 2025: A Month of Diversity and Unity
Greifswald is set to host its annual Intercultural Week from September 19 to October 20, 2025. Organized by the Network Migration Greifswald and over 50 organizations, the event promises over 40 activities celebrating diversity and unity.
Kicking off the festivities, the official opening on September 19 at 3:30 PM at the IGS Erwin Fischer will feature a captivating performance by the dance academy of the Georgian association Kulturwerkstatt SakARTvelo Berlin. They will showcase expressive choreographies, offering a glimpse into the heart and soul of Georgian culture.
The Intercultural Week will span various neighborhoods, with many events taking place in Schönwalde I/Südstadt and Schönwalde. Visitors can look forward to a packed program including an intercultural football tournament, theater performances, film screenings, concerts, lectures, sports events, group cooking, and more.
With over 40 events planned, the Intercultural Week in Greifswald promises a month filled with cultural exchange, unity, and celebration. The event is a testament to the power of collaboration, with numerous cooperation partners and volunteers coming together to make it a success.
