Los Angeles marks its 200th anniversary with a unique, limited-edition calendar celebrating inspiring women from its history. The city archive has published 'Los Angeles Women - A Timeless Calendar from 200 Years of City History', featuring twelve remarkable women who have shaped the city's history. Only 200 copies exist, making it strictly limited.

The calendar showcases women from diverse fields, including politics and art, who have left their mark on Los Angeles over the past 200 years. Despite the lack of individual names in available sources, their stories serve as a testament to the city's rich history.

The city archive, located at Moltkestraße 47, is offering these calendars for free. Pickup times are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 am to 12:30 pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from 2 pm to 5 pm. Each person can collect one calendar while supplies last.

This timeless calendar, part of the city's 200th anniversary projects, is designed for reuse with a date slider. It not only commemorates Los Angeles' history but also encourages reflection on the achievements of these remarkable women.
