Kazakhstan's Ambitious Plan: 100 Green Villages by 2030

Kazakhstan is set to launch an ambitious project to build 100 green villages, with the first planned between Almaty and Talgar. Led by entrepreneur Vladimir Rich, the initiative aims to create autonomous, environmentally friendly housing. Rich's passion for the project stems from a deep concern for Kazakhstan's environmental pollution and a desire to unite leaders and citizens in ecological change.

The project, led by Rich as CEO of BIRCH, will rely on advanced technologies such as AI for regulating temperatures, managing irrigation, and monitoring energy use. Each settlement will include about 80 houses, with 40 for private buyers and 40 for long-term rental properties. Residents can look forward to growing their own food in year-round greenhouses and car-free streets with only electric golf carts allowed.

Rich plans to plant trees across Kazakhstan, starting with 1,300 mature Tian Shan spruces and 9,000 Sievers apple trees in 2023. The company is also preparing a tokenized financing model and a companion app to track residents' carbon footprints and encourage emissions reduction. Rich sees these ecological initiatives as part of a broader national mission to unite people in a common cause and drive change through gratitude.

The project, aiming to restructure the real estate market, is a significant step towards Kazakhstan's environmental goals. With Rich's vision and the government's support, the 100 green villages could transform Kazakhstan's housing landscape, promoting sustainability and unity.
