Lünen's City Center Comes Alive with Ferienspielplatz Event

Lünen's city center is set to come alive during the first week of autumn holidays with the Ferienspielplatz event. The 'Climate-friendly Urban Development' team and the city center management are organizing this event, aiming to promote the city center and foster a sense of community. The event is a result of the dialogue format erlebnis.RAUM.

The Ferienspielplatz will take place on the Marktplatz on Monday, October 13, and Wednesday, October 15, from 12 to 4 pm. Activities include a thrilling mini excavator experience on Wednesday, a scooter course where protective gear is strongly recommended, a ride-on car course, large-format games, a bouncy castle, and glitter tattoos to add a touch of fun and creativity.

The event is organized by the 'Klimagerechte Stadtentwicklung' team and the Zentrenmanagement of the city of Lünen, with support from Mobile Jugendförderung/Streetwork and the Lükaz team. Supervision and care of children remain with respective accompanying adults, who will also have access to beer garden furniture for their comfort. The event is made possible by sponsors such as SportLive, Blomenkemper, City Ring Lünen e. V., WBG Lünen, and Baasner Garden and Landscape Construction GmbH.
