In the heart of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, a unique and serene oasis named La Serenidad is up for sale. This tropical retreat, once a personal sanctuary for Chuck Panozzo, the co-founder and bassist of the iconic band Styx, is currently listed at $1.75 million.

Built in 1952, La Serenidad boasts a rich history and quality craftsmanship. Warm wood finishes and coral accents adorn the home, creating a cosy and inviting atmosphere. The Asian-inspired design elements, such as koi ponds, tranquil garden gazebos, and teak sculptures, contribute to the peaceful Zen-like ambiance that the property exudes.

Outside, La Serenidad reveals its true charm. Bonsai and Ashoka trees, animal-shaped hedges, and more teak sculptures add to the tropical allure. Most of the art and sculptures in the outdoor areas are included in the sale, making it an attractive proposition for potential buyers.

Panozzo, who has previously resided in high-rises in both Chicago and Miami, is moving closer to the city's growing arts and culture scene. The sale of La Serenidad is being handled by Juan Zapata and Susan Rindley of ONE Sotheby's International Realty.

La Serenidad was purchased by Panozzo in 2007 for $305,000. Despite the move, Panozzo is still actively touring with Styx, ensuring that his music continues to resonate with fans worldwide.

For those interested in experiencing the unique charm of La Serenidad, the property is now available for viewing. This tropical retreat offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, making it an ideal home for those seeking peace and tranquility.
