Memories of Vacation Scenes, Depicted in Artwork
The quaint town of Jetzendorf is currently home to a vibrant art exhibition, showcasing the creations of several talented artists from the area. The exhibition, housed in the newly operational town hall, features a diverse collection of 45 pieces of artwork, primarily acrylic and watercolor paintings.
Three of the artists exhibiting their work are Sonja Frimmer, Heidi Wilhelm, and Marlene Kafka. All three painters honed their artistic skills under the tutelage of Cilia Amorth in Petershausen.
Sonja Frimmer, a resident of Jetzendorf, is one of the local artists displaying her work. Her fellow exhibitors, Heidi Wilhelm and Marlene Kafka, hail from Petershausen and Indersdorf respectively.
Heidi Wilhelm, another Petershausen native, has also contributed a selection of her paintings to the exhibition. Marlene Kafka, the Indersdorf painter, has also joined the display with her acrylic and watercolor works.
Cilia Amorth, a teacher of artistic craft in Petershausen, established her art school in the former Benedictine monastery. It was under her guidance that Sonja Frimmer, Heidi Wilhelm, and Marlene Kafka learned their artistic skills.
The town hall in Jetzendorf is proud to host this exhibition, which not only showcases the talent of these three artists but also provides a platform for other local and surrounding area artists to display their work.
