Nature Park Saar-Hunsrück announces event schedule from 30th May to 29th June 2025
The Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park has announced an extensive event calendar for the month of June 2025, offering a diverse range of activities for families, individuals, and nature and herb enthusiasts.
Kicking off the month is the Discovery Tour around Hermeskeil on June 1, priced at 7 Euro for children and 12 Euro for adults. For those interested in herbs, a herb walk in Saarburg is scheduled for June 28, suitable for families and featuring a herb snack at the end for 7 Euro for children and 12 Euro for adults.
For those seeking a more hands-on experience, a scythe course with practice exercises in Dhronecken is scheduled for May 31, costing 85 Euro per person. On the same day, a wine hike on the "Lecker Pfadchen" in Dhronecken is also available, with optional wine tasting for 25 Euro or an additional culinary offer for 48 Euro.
For those with a keen interest in medicinal plants, two herb workshops on the lime tree, medicinal plant 2025, are scheduled on June 20 in Otzenhausen and on June 27 in Gisingen, each costing 15 Euro.
The Jubilee weekend "10 years National Park Hunsrück-Hochwald" is scheduled from June 7 to 9, promising a celebratory atmosphere.
For those who enjoy the outdoors and biodiversity, an excursion to biodiversity in the greenland near Börfink is scheduled for June 15, priced at 15 Euro per person. A Culinary herb hike in Osburg with a "Wild Kitchen" tasting is scheduled for June 29, costing 15 Euro.
For those who are fascinated by nocturnal creatures, a Bat Safari in Waldrach is scheduled for June 21, suitable for families with children from six years, costing 7 Euro for children and 12 Euro for adults.
