Omega, the well-known Swiss watch manufacturer, has established a new retail outlet in Boston's fashionable Back Bay district, catering to watch aficionados by providing a venue for collecting timepieces.

Omega has made its mark in the city of Boston with the opening of a new boutique in the Back Bay neighbourhood. Located at 44 Newbury Street, the stylish store is nestled among luxury watch brands such as IWC, Panerai, Bulgari, Cartier, and Vacheron Constantin.

The grand opening coincided with the stateside debut of the Aqua Terra in 30mm, featuring 12 references on display. The event was a celebration not only of Omega's latest offering but also of Boston's growing status as a destination for serious watch collectors.

The evening's festivities continued with a gala dinner hosted at the Institute of Contemporary Art overlooking the Boston waterfront. Notable guests included Ariana DeBose, who took to the stage with Omega U.S. President Arnaud Michon during the dinner.

DeBose, who wore an Omega Constellation at the 2022 Oscars, discussed the importance of punctuality on set, Nicole Kidman's kindness, and her experiences as an ambassador for the brand. She was joined by a group of six other notable women, including Ashley Graham, Danielle Marsh, Tems, Marisa Abela, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, and Ariana DeBose, who are ambassadors for Omega's new campaign, "my little secret."

The campaign, created by Biltmore, aims to refresh the senses by Omega. It showcases the brand's commitment to empowering women and promoting horology among a diverse audience.

The collection's pricing ranges from $6,600 for a steel-on-steel model to $40,100 for an 18k Moonshine gold model with 46 diamonds. The watches feature the Master Chronometer Calibre 8750 and 8751, depending on the model's material.

The growing emphasis on women collectors in the highest strata of the horological world was also noted, marking a significant trend in the industry. As Boston welcomes Omega to its Back Bay neighbourhood, it also embraces its role as a hub for serious watch collectors and the promotion of women in horology.
