Outdoor bathing facilities conclude operations for the year
City's Outdoor Pools Remain Open for Final Days of Summer
The city's outdoor pools in Berlebeck and Schwarzenbrink will remain open for the final days of summer, offering residents and visitors a chance to enjoy the water before the pools close for the season.
The outdoor pool Schwarzenbrink will be open from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM on both Saturday and Sunday. From Tuesday to Friday, the pool operates from 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM. On Monday, the pool operates from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
The outdoor pool Berlebeck will be open from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday. The pool extends its hours on Friday to 7:00 PM. From Monday to Wednesday, the pool operates from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and on Thursday from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Unfortunately, the outdoor pools Fischerteich and Hiddesen will close this weekend. Fischerteich will close on Saturday, August 30, at 6:30 PM, while Hiddesen will close on Sunday, August 31, at 6:30 PM. These pools will not reopen after August 31, 2025.
The press release regarding the city's outdoor pools has been published on the city portal. The pools in Berlebeck and Schwarzenbrink are still operational in August 2025, and the outdoor pools in these locations will not close this weekend.
Visitors are reminded to follow all pool rules and regulations for a safe and enjoyable experience. The last summer days can be enjoyed in the water at the outdoor pools in Berlebeck and Schwarzenbrink.
The outdoor pool Berlebeck will continue to operate until the end of the season with the following hours: Monday to Wednesday 12:00–19:00, Thursday 13:00–19:00, Friday 12:00–19:00, Saturday and Sunday 12:00–18:30. The outdoor pool Schwarzenbrink will operate with these hours: Monday 13:00–19:00, Tuesday to Friday 11:30–19:00, Saturday and Sunday 11:00–18:30. The outdoor pool Berlebeck extends its hours on Saturday and Sunday to 6:30 PM, while the outdoor pool Schwarzenbrink extends its hours on these days as well.
