Questions asked: Preferred Lehigh merchandise still cherished and utilized by enthusiasts today?
Lehigh Alumni Showcase Prized University Possessions
In a recent initiative on the Lehigh Alumni Facebook page, alumni have been encouraged to share their most cherished Lehigh University memorabilia. Among the participants are Beth Haselbach '94, Dan Krouse III '80, and Allyson Lysaght '96.
Beth Haselbach's bear, a symbol of Lehigh University, accompanied her throughout her four years at the university. Today, the bear resides in Switzerland. Beth also owns a sweatshirt from her graduating class of 1994 and a T-shirt from 1972, both proud pieces of Lehigh merchandise.
Dan Krouse III '80 possesses a shirt from the 1977 National Championship. Despite no longer fitting him, the shirt holds significant sentimental value.
Frankie Trovato '07 favours a Champion Lehigh sweatshirt with a white-ish gray colour and a flat brim snapback. Trovato describes this sweatshirt as the warmest and most comfortable out there.
Allyson Lysaght '96 owns a sweatshirt that she acquired during a tour of Lehigh University in 1992. Despite the sweatshirt being fraying and beaten up, Lysaght intends to keep it.
The Lehigh Alumni Facebook page will continue to feature Squawk questions, inviting alumni to share their thoughts. The Bulletin may also feature alumni's responses in an upcoming issue.
Keep an eye on the Lehigh Alumni social media channels for future questions and updates. You can follow them on Facebook and Instagram (@lehighalumni).
