This year in Kstovo, the social hub near the Kudyma River, nestled close by the Vishenki microdistrict, is undergoing some major renovations as part of the "Creating a Comfortable Urban Environment" project under the "Infrastructure for Life" national project. As declared by Maxim Rysin, head of the urban development department of the Kstovsky municipal district, this project ranked at the top in the 2024 rating vote.
"In Kstovo, there's a scarcity of casual waterfront recreational areas, officially equipped ones being practically nonexistent except for this territory. So it's not surprising that residents chose this site for some TLC. Our plan is to wrap up the work by the end of July, at long last providing 'Stovians' with a chilled-out waterfront recreational spot," said Maxim Rysin with a grin.
The riverbank will soon sport a beach volleyball court, a lifeguard station, umbrellas, sunbeds, benches, changing cubicles, and facilities. The contractor's already nailed down the geodetic layout for small architectural forms and begun pouring concrete bases for installation. The project carries a price tag of approximately 4.6 million rubles.
In total, six public spaces will see upgrades within the district this year under the "Creating a Comfortable Urban Environment" project.
