In the picturesque district of Sackenried, Bad Kötzting, the annual Sackenried Kirta festival is set to return on August 17th. This centuries-old Kirchtag festival is a unique blend of religious celebration and lively folk customs, deeply rooted in the region's cultural identity.

The Sackenried Kirta serves as a significant event for the local community, offering an opportunity to strengthen social bonds, celebrate regional heritage, and preserve Bavarian traditions. To help sweeten the occasion, the women's group is soliciting cake donations. Preferred donations are fat-free and dry cakes.
