Security Guards Force Komandor Supermarket in Krasnoyarsk to Package Bread Before Selling

In the city of Krasnoyarsk, retail chain "Командор" has been prohibited, courtesy of a court decision, from displaying unpackaged bread on store shelves. This move allegedly disregards sanitary standards. Court-appointed officials, the bailiffs, were forced to intervene.

Originally, such a court petition was filed by Roskomnadzor, as previously reported by DELA. Roskomnadzor pointed out receiving multiple complaints from shoppers about supermarkets on Ulitsa Karazina, 4 and Ulitsa Dmitriya Martynova, 21.

According to Roskomnadzor, bread and baked goods should be sold in pre-packaged form, as per sanitary regulations.

Roskomnadzor issued a warning to "Командор," but no information about its execution was received. Due to numerous complaints, specialists conducted an investigation and discovered that the regulations were not being followed in the stores. This formed the basis for filing the petition.

Eventually, the court's ruling, compelling the trading network to package bread and baked goods, was handed over to the service of court bailiffs.

"Indeed, numerous times, one could observe the scene of customers touching, picking up, and returning unpackaged bread to the shelf," commented representatives from the UFSSP.

Bailiffs worked with the chain's management and explained the potential consequences of disregarding the court's ruling. They eventually assessed the situation and agreed to package bread and baked goods.
