The charming town of Bretten, Germany, is gearing up for an exciting two-week event - the Open-Air Festival "Summer in the Park". From Thursday, August 10, until August 17, Bretten's park will transform into a hub of mindfulness, nature, and physical activity.

The festival, organised by Michaela Schreiber, promises a diverse programme that caters to all tastes. Daily activities include Hatha-Yoga, Indian Balance, and Qigong sessions under the open sky. For those seeking a more active experience, there will be training sessions with equipment from the sports box in the park on five dates: August 9, 12, 16, 26, and September 30.

Music enthusiasts can look forward to a musical journey to Italy on August 10, featuring baritone Lorenzo de Cunzo and pianist Tarek El Barbari. On August 16, the Silent Disco will take centre stage, allowing guests to choose their own music through headphones. The festival will conclude on August 17 with a joyful and unifying sing-along party hosted by Singer Chessy Czesnat, and a performance by the Diedelsheim Men's Choir.

Families are not forgotten in this event-filled schedule. The "Wasserzeit Family Day" on August 13 is designed for families with storytelling, creative stations, and a poetic water café. A highlight of the day is the theatre play "The Glittering Schuppenfish," suitable for children aged three and above.

For those who appreciate poetry, there will be opportunities to immerse themselves in the written word. On August 9, Bernd Lafrenz will perform a one-man show of Romeo and Juliet.

Brigitte Appl, a regular festival attendee, shared her excitement, "I attended the first Hatha-Yoga session under the open sky at Bretten's city park on Thursday morning, and I plan to attend other events during the two festival weeks." Susanna Paintain, who has been practicing yoga for 25 years, is also looking forward to discovering new variations at the festival.

No registration or entrance tickets are required for the events. For more information about the "Summer in the Park" program, visit www.erlebe-bretten.de.
