"Stefan Gwildis at the Forefront" or "Stefan Gwildis Leading the Way"
The Cultural Wiesen, a beloved event taking place between Wolbeck and Everswinkel, is set to return from 21st August to 7th September. This year's edition promises a diverse lineup of activities, including an art exhibition in the Kunstgarten, live performances, comedy and cabaret acts, and more.
Artists like Miriam Ortmann, Karin Engel, and Andrea Ottenjann will display their current works in the art exhibition. One of the highlights of the event will be the auction of Winfried Totzek's sculpture "Eulen". Proceeds from the auction will benefit the "Freude über Freude e.V." association and the Hospizförderverein.
The festival grounds are largely barrier-free, making it accessible for all. Visitors can enjoy the events on foot, by bike, or by car, with free parking available, including for motorhomes.
The full programme includes a variety of musical performances, with Stefan Gwildis kicking off his 50th anniversary tour at the event on 21st August. Other acts include Kay Ray, Mirja Boes, Marc Weide, Lisa Feller, Florian Schroeder, Zucchini Sistaz, Wolfgang Trepper, Männerschnupfen, Tom Gaebel & his Trio, and Thomas Philipzen.
For those seeking a more relaxed atmosphere, an after-show party with music, drinks, and opportunities for exchange is planned for the weekends. Food and drink options will be provided by the Schulze Wettendorf family and regional partners, including wood oven baker Ralf Wittler and the team from Tayibat.
For those who prefer a more interactive experience, the Golfclub Brückhausen will be present with activities on three evenings. A shuttle service will also be available for mobility-impaired guests, supported by the Golfclub Brückhausen.
