Survey reveals exceptional quality of daycare centers in Dreieich for parents
In the city of Dreieich, a recent parent survey on daycare centres has yielded positive results, with consistently high evaluations across all municipal, private, and denominational Kitas. According to Mayor Martin Burlon, the results are a testament to the excellent work of educators and staff in the city's daycare centres.
Kerstin Briese, head of the children's care department, expressed her pride in the positive perception of their continuous efforts to improve early childhood education and care. However, she stressed that the survey does not replace detailed and trusting parent-to-facility conversations for shaping care and early childhood education individually.
The survey results have been provided to the individual facilities for targeted improvements. One such improvement could be enhancing communication, as regular updates and open channels between parents and daycare staff can help build trust and satisfaction.
To facilitate this, the city of Dreieich has implemented a new Kita app to simplify communication between facilities and parents. This digital platform is expected to foster more effective communication and strengthen the bond between parents and daycare centres.
It's worth noting that the survey results showed that over 87 percent of parents confirm that their children experience a respectful treatment by the specialists in the Kita. Furthermore, almost 90 percent of parents reported that their children enjoy visiting the Kita and feel comfortable there.
The survey also revealed that almost 89 percent praise the outdoor play areas, which enable their children to have nature experiences and movement. Over 83 percent of parents know the pedagogical concept of their Kita, indicating a strong understanding and support for the educational approach being implemented.
The overall rating of all daycare centres in Dreieich is school grade 2+ (good to very good), reflecting the high standard of care and education provided. With these positive results, the city of Dreieich continues to strive for continuous improvement in early childhood education and care.
