SUSHI SAMBA, the renowned restaurant brand known for its vibrant energy, bright colors, and bold design that reflects the spirit of Japan, Brazil, and Peru, has announced the launch of its new uniforms. The designs, created by British Fashion Council grant recipient Paula Knorr, will debut in Fall 2020 at international locations.

Knorr's designs for SUSHI SAMBA feature soft draped shapes and relaxed silhouettes, aiming to complement all body shapes. The challenge for Knorr was to create a design that captures the brand's DNA, is visually striking, practical, and comfortable.

The SUSHI SAMBA uniforms will be a fusion of the brand's signature orange and midnight blue, with a bespoke print inspired by the brand's street art. The collection includes a soft wrapped jumpsuit with cape sleeves, palazzo pants, slim collarless jackets, and shirts with graffiti-inspired print accents.

The uniforms can be mixed and matched for versatility, and they will feature responsibly produced viscose, wool, organic cotton, and recycled fibers. The uniform pieces have supportive details such as wide elastic waistbands for comfort and flexibility.

Joanna Cisowska, SUSHI SAMBA's VP of Brand & Marketing, explains that the collaboration aims to bring the brand's design and fashion to the forefront while staying socially responsible. The goal of the collaboration is to foster confidence among employees by providing them with beautifully designed, comfortable, and functional uniforms.

Knorr worked with sustainable fabric suppliers and tailoring factories in Europe for the SUSHI SAMBA project. The uniforms' design language and production process are inventive and thoughtful, reflecting SUSHI SAMBA's ongoing efforts to bring design and fashion to the forefront while staying socially responsible.

Color played a major role in the design of the SUSHI SAMBA uniforms, reflecting the brand's spirit of energy and freedom. The uniforms are part of SUSHI SAMBA's international expansion efforts and will be unveiled at locations around the world.

Paula Knorr, a designer involved in the development of the new uniforms for SUSHISAMBA, received the British Fashion Council's British Fashion Award in 2018. The SUSHI SAMBA uniforms are set to make a bold and stylish statement, embodying the brand's unique fusion of cultures and commitment to sustainability.
