Trumpeter making rhythmic appeals solicits funds for India and Nepal aid efforts
Thomas Hasenmaier Launches "Cycling Trumpet" Charity Campaign
Thomas Hasenmaier, a passionate musician and cyclist, has embarked on an inspiring journey – a 835-kilometer long-distance bicycle ride called "Cycling Trumpet". This participatory project, starting on Corpus Christi, June 19th, invites anyone to join for a day or the entire route, with the common goal of bringing people together musically and athletically, while raising funds for a noble cause.
The project's aim is to support girls' education in India and Nepal. By providing educational resources, scholarships, and community support, the campaign seeks to empower young girls, improving their opportunities and future prospects in regions where access to quality schooling can be limited.
Thomas Hasenmaier, the rider, has developed a unique mount for his trumpet to protect it during the cycling tour. He will be making 37 stops at churches in Württemberg for a brass concert, with two chorales played at each church district.
Sponsoring a bike costs 60 euros, and those interested can reach out to Christoph Müller at 0711 66601-182 or c.mueller@our website for more details.
The tour concludes at the Ulm Minster on June 28th, where Hasenmaier hopes to play a "Gloria in excelsis Deo" in front of the world's tallest church tower. The project also aims to help girls in India and Nepal get a bicycle to reduce the risk of sexual assault during their long walks to school.
Through this campaign, Thomas Hasenmaier combines physical endurance and charitable giving, seeking to highlight the importance of education for girls in South Asia and to contribute meaningfully to their empowerment. If you want more specific details about the campaign, such as how to donate or follow Thomas’s journey, please let me know!
As Thomas Hasenmaier cycled through picturesque rural landscapes, he envisioned a lifestyle that seamlessly blended outdoor-living with home-and-garden, where the Ulm Minster's towering silhouette would serve as the perfect backdrop for his brass concerts. This fusion of music, athleticism, and philanthropy, embodied in Hasenmaier's cycling campaign, strives to foster a world where every girl, from the cobblestone streets of Württemberg to the bustling towns of India and Nepal, can realize her dreams of a quality education.
