TSET Launches 'My Life, My Quit' to Help Oklahoma Youth Kick Tobacco Habit
TSET has introduced a new service, My Life, My Quit, to assist Oklahoma's youth aged 13 to 17 in quitting tobacco and vaping. This text-based service joins the Oklahoma Tobacco Helpline, which has already registered over 470,000 users since 2003.
The Oklahoma Tobacco Helpline offers a range of customizable services, including phone and web coaching, motivational texts, email support, and free nicotine replacement products. To help users decide on the best quitting services, the helpline provides a Readiness Quiz.
The helpline also encourages users to build healthy habits through small changes in daily routines. It offers the Shape Your Future's 5 Step Guide and Healthy Habits Rewards Card for this purpose. By using these services, a tobacco user's chances of successfully quitting increase by 60 percent.
TSET's My Life, My Quit service complements the Oklahoma Tobacco Helpline's comprehensive approach to helping Oklahomans quit tobacco. With a variety of services and resources, the helpline continues to support those aiming to lead smoke-free lives.
