Japfa Comfeed Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Japfa Vietnam) recently donated 8,000 day-old chicks and four tonnes of animal feed to 80 disadvantaged farming households in Long Ha Commune, Dong Nai province. This marks the second consecutive year that Japfa has implemented the "Care & Share" initiative in this community.

The donated breed, Mia, is well-suited to local farming conditions, easy to raise, and delivers high economic efficiency. Beneficiaries like Dieu Minh Hung, who has been a recipient since 2024, appreciate Japfa's poultry for their strong immunity, rapid growth, and the guidance provided by Japfa's technical guidelines.

Nguyen Thi Huong, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Ha Commune, expressed appreciation for Japfa's support. This initiative aims to create long-term impact by helping farmers gradually improve their household economies.

Japfa Vietnam's community development approach in Long Ha Commune is part of a broader strategy by companies in Dong Nai province, including Japfa, to develop large, branded livestock systems and provide livestock technical services, input supplies, and support to local farming communities. The provincial government also facilitates such corporate contributions by implementing policies and infrastructure improvements that encourage investment and technological advancement in the livestock sector.

In addition to Long Ha Commune, Japfa Comfeed Vietnam has donated nearly 100,000 breeding chickens to farmers in remote and ethnic minority areas across more than 10 provinces nationwide. The company will continue to implement the "Care & Share" project in other rural areas.

Farmers will also receive on-site technical support from Japfa experts on farm design, feeding, vaccination, and disease control. All chicks are fully vaccinated and sexed before being delivered to the beneficiaries. Japfa Comfeed Vietnam has also donated 10,000 litres of disinfectant to Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Departments, households, and industrial farmers in early November to aid in disease prevention and control.

Japfa Comfeed Vietnam is committed to investing in impactful community initiatives that address the genuine needs of local communities. The company's efforts in Long Ha Commune demonstrate its dedication to improving the livelihoods of disadvantaged farmers and fostering sustainable agricultural development.
