The Welds worked with McAlpine to recreate the memories of their childhood home in a modern Tudor style. The result is a sprawling 35,000 square foot residence that feels both elegant and personal. The exterior boasts contemporary gas lanterns, copper accents, and a mix of natural materials like boulders and stone.
Inside, the kitchen is a unique blend of comfort and functionality, designed to look like a sitting room with greenery flooding in through a large picture window. Appliances are set off-center, creating a seamless indoor/outdoor living experience that fits perfectly with the organic woodsy setting. The upper level features a lounge, reading area, prayer room, workspace, and a convertible sleeping space for their nine grandchildren.
