Youngsters' learning program in session!

On Saturday, September 27, 2025, a fun and educational balance bike course will be held for children aged two to six. The event, organised by Radparcours.de from Cologne, will take place on the small schoolyard of the comprehensive school located at Cologne Street 25, next to the evangelical church.

The balance bike course is a part of the local traffic safety actions promoted by the Cologne Regional Government for the year 2024, and is being held in cooperation with the Stadtverkehr Euskirchen GmbH. Participation in the course is free, and no registration is required. Children and their accompanying adults are welcome to attend.

Radparcours.de will provide balance bikes, age-appropriate ramps/hills, helmets, and traffic signs for the event. The course does not rely on any specific number of laps or repeated attendance, allowing children to enjoy the experience at their own pace. Multiple laps or returning later in the event are possible, as the course will run from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Every child who completes the balance bike course at least once will receive a certificate and a small gift. Participants are also welcome to bring their own balance bike and helmet if they prefer. The event location will offer round after round of riding on the balance bike course, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for children to learn and practice their balance bike skills.

The balance bike course is funded by the Cologne Regional Government as a measure within the promotion of local traffic safety actions for the year 2024. It is an excellent opportunity for children to learn about road safety and develop their balance and coordination skills in a fun and engaging way. We look forward to seeing you there!
